The police searched a man’s home, found drugs and a firearm, and brought drug dealing charges against him, carrying a five-year mandatory prison sentence if found guilty. We attacked the police search as illegal and had all of the evidence and charges thrown out before trial ever happened.

A jury trial for a man accused of child molestation. A felony guilty on these charges would mean a long jail sentence. Verdict? Not guilty on all felony charges.

A woman was stopped on her way home by the state police for DUI. Gurwitz fought to get the police dash board video camera and uncovered that the charges were completely unwarranted. He filed a motion to suppress the evidence. Judge granted the motion. Result? No DUI conviction, charges dismissed.
